Throughout the year we run a range of events in Bristol, starting with our Introduction to Beekeeping course which gives those interested in taking up beekeeping a thorough and engaging overview of all aspects of apiculture.

From Spring to Autumn we run regular Apiary and Grounds days for our members. Apiary days allow our members to practice beekeeping in our apiary with more experienced beekeepers on hand. We have a range of hive types and also cover more technical aspects of beekeeping (queen rearing, pest treatment, honey extraction). Grounds days are a great opportunity for members to enjoy the apiary grounds and connect with other beekeepers while helping out with a few tasks that need to be done to keep the orchards, buildings and hives looking great year round. We also round off the summer with the Bristol Honey Show. Finally, as we close up our hives for the winter we offer our Winter Talks which provide useful insights on a range of beekeeping topics from engaging local speakers.
